<p><b>Role Description</b><br /></p><p><b> </b></p><p>St Joseph&#39;s Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school that invites faith filled people to work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.</p><p>Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for a full time ongoing position as a Learning and Teaching Leader, which also incorporates the role of English Curriculum Leader and other administration duties as directed by the Principal to commence on May 17, 2021 (or by negotiation). </p><p>Applicants should be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>a sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards;</li><li>how they would plan and implement the whole of school literacy program;</li><li>experience in data analysis at team level and whole school level;</li><li>excellent written and verbal communication skills and ICT skills;</li><li>the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with staff, students and families within the Catholic school and faith communities, demonstrating Catholic ethos, vision and values</li></ul><p>As a school, we value staff that work as part of a high performing team, and who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction.The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.</p><p><b><u>Special Requirements </u></b></p><p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>current VIT registration;</li><li>confidence in using ICT;</li><li>knowledge of Victorian Curriculum;</li><li>accreditation to teach RE (desirable);</li><li>a commitment to engaging students and improving outcomes;</li><li>an ability to explain how data analysis and feedback would be used to drive student learning.</li></ul><p>Note: You must reside, and have the right to work, in Australia – overseas applicants will not be considered for this role.</p><p>Applicants must have a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check.</p><p><b><u>Application Procedures </u></b></p><p>Applications should be made in writing including the names of two referees and forwarded via email to the Principal Mrs Sharon Kenyon-Smith.
