<p>Gilroy Catholic College is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Leader of System Analytics to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">The role of the Leader of System Analytics is integral to the effective functioning of Gilroy Catholic College. The Leader of System Analytics works in collaboration with the Principal, Assistant Principals and members of the Leadership Team to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the school.</p> <p dir="ltr">The Leader of Learning System Analytics is:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A member of the Leadership Team</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Chair of the Timetable Team</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">The Leader of System Analytics has the following responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrating commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Building capacity of self and others with regard to contemporary practice surrounding the analysis and use of data to inform learning and teaching&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working collaboratively with the Assistant Principals on the implementation of practices regarding the analysis and use of data to inform the direction of the College</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working collaboratively with all members of the Leadership Team</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Analysis of data both formal and informal including NAPLAN, Pat-R, Pat-M, HSC in consultation with the Assistant Principals</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evaluation of both formal and informal data in collaboration with Assistant Principals, KLA and Year Leaders of Learning</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Development and implementation of data management systems for analysis of informal data</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Leading the development and implementation of the College timetable</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Oversee the maintenance of all NESA requirements and entries&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Rooming and organisation for all information evenings, examinations and other events</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Manage the examination processes and the examination timetables including online testing (Minimum Standards, PAT-R/M etc.)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Manage the reporting system and timelines for all reports 7-12</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Manage all data systems</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Coordination of whole school events including Open Evening and Student Progress Conferences</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Collaboration with ICT infrastructure manager</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">To develop and manage the following:</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">Appointment of casual teachers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">Daily organisation</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">The creation of supervision rosters</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">NESA entries</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">Maintenance of class, pastoral and house group lists</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: circle"> <p dir="ltr">Collation and distribution of booklists</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">Any other responsibilities at the discretion of the Principal.</p> <p>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.</p> <p>All applications are to include a cover letter, curriculum vitae and three (3) current professional referees.
