<p>Our client is a well-established and successful co-ed Christian Primary School with a committed team of 36 personnel and over 300 students from Reception to Year 6. This popular school cultivates an optimistic, caring, and encouraging culture. The school is located in the hills, 40 mins from the Adelaide CBD. </p><p>This newly created, permanent part-time Receptionist role for 3 days per week, is for an exceptional candidate who has a brilliant attitude, is positive, discreet, warm-natured, caring, supportive and efficient. </p><p>As the first point of contact, the candidate possesses an excellent warm telephone manner, and at reception is most helpful to welcome, greet and assist. This pro-active and energetic front person who excels in customer service is fully able to create a welcoming ‘front of house’, to both external and internal contacts. Therefore, good communication and interpersonal skills across all levels, an attention for detail and follow-up are essential. </p><p>The role will report directly to the Principal and/or delegate as required. As the Receptionist, the candidate will be using discretion, initiative, emotive intelligence, multi-task, and problem-solving skills, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fluid and changing priorities environment. </p><p>Administration and communications responsibilities will be to maintain office and document security, prepare, distribute school communication, maintain student database, provide additional support to staff and students as directed, receipt monies and EFTPOS transactions, and maintaining First Aid. </p><p>In executive management support, some secretarial and administrative skills will be drawn on, to provide light support to the Principal, Deputy Principal, and the Business Manager. The support to the Principal will include the management of electronic calendars, daily planning, scheduled appointment, and meetings. </p><p>Mandatory Certificates must be current or obtained prior to employment for Mandatory Notification, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Senior First Aid in an educational setting. Future renewal will be provided by the school, and any other training and professional development will be at the discretion of the Principal. </p><p>A proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and an efficiency in typing speed of 60 words per minute and Excel data processing. Training of the PC School system will be provided. </p><p>The role provides significant flexibility across school holidays (working 43 weeks of the year).
