<p>Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) is a dynamic educational governing authority and service provider to Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 550 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. MACS provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Leadership, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> <br> The Learning Consultant, Religious Education provides strategic advice relating to the development, implementation and evaluation of Religious Education curriculum in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, and MACS and Victorian curriculum, assessment and reporting priorities.<br> <br> Salary range for this position is $72,058 (T1-1) to $108,003 (T2-6) per annum according to the Teacher Salaries as set out in the <em><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/getmedia/e728ccbb-dac1-4822-9607-7c5cb8abdae9/VCEMEA_2013.aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></em>. Salary is based upon teaching qualifications and experience. In addition to this, a School Adviser Allowance ($8,817 or $11,921 per annum) which is dependent upon years of service will be applicable, plus superannuation according to the <em>Superannuation Guarantee Legislation</em>.<br> <br> This is a fixed term role to provide parental leave cover until January 2022, based in our Southern Regional Office in Moorabbin.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> <br> The successful applicant will demonstrate an understanding of developments in curriculum, assessment and reporting, and experience in contemporary learning practices in learning and teaching with a particular focus on Religious Education in a school setting.<br> <br> You will have knowledge of, and experience in Catholic school curriculum design and the application of contemporary learning practices in learning and teaching. You must have the ability to effectively analyse and use data to enable targeted professional support for teachers. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders are essential to this position.<br> <br> The successful applicants will be required to have Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) accreditation.
