<p>Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) is a dynamic educational governing authority and service provider to Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. More than 550 staff work across the head office in East Melbourne and four regional offices in the North, East, South and West. MACS provides services to schools in areas as diverse as Curriculum, RE, Leadership, Finance, ICT, Marketing and Communications, Student Wellbeing, Legal, Planning and Industrial Relations. MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> Through collaboration with the General Manager, Employee Relations, the role of Team Leader, Occupational Health and Safety will contribute to the work of the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&amp;S) team and more broadly to MACS through their involvement in all aspects of strategic planning, OH&amp;S and WorkCover advice and support to Catholic schools across Victoria.<br> <br> Attractive remuneration of $148,192 per annum, a collegiate culture and excellent benefits are on offer for the right candidate. Superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of MACS. Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position.<br> <br> This is an opportunity to apply your expert skills in a values based organisation, focused on supporting the education and wellbeing of Catholic school students.<br> <br> <strong>ABOUT YOU</strong><br> <br> The successful candidate will have significant leadership experience within an Occupational Health and Safety team and specific knowledge in OH&amp;S, including the application of current legislation and knowledge of contemporary practices in relation to OH&amp;S, WorkCover and Injury Management. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop trusting working relationships with schools and other teams within MACS will also be of high importance. Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are mandatory requirements of this role.
