The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is seeking an Administration Officer to support the business and clerical requirements of the school.

<p><strong>Communications/Social Media Marketing Officer</strong></p> <p><strong>Permanent Part Time Position - Level 4</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>8.00am to 4.00pm (6 days per fortnight) </strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><a name="_heading=h.30j0zll"></a><strong>Applications Close: </strong><strong>11/4/21</strong></p> <div align="center"><hr width="100%" size="2" align="center"></div> <p><strong>Position Objective</strong></p> <p>The Communications Officer works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support to the Principal and the College Leadership team in the successful delivery of communications and marketing for the College.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The focus of this role is to formulate, implement and manage communication and marketing plans:</p> <ul> <li><strong><em>Communication </em></strong>– manage the development and design production of key publications in collaboration with all College staff and the Leadership team: <ul type="circle"> <li>Newsletter (fortnightly) – coordinate, source articles and create the fortnightly newsletter and distribution through the College website, social platforms and Skoolbag;</li> <li>Drafting of all school media releases in collaboration with the Communications team at CEDP.</li> <li>Yearbook (annually) – creation, edit and arrange publishing including liaising with printers and the College community in sourcing articles and photographs;</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong><em>Marketing</em></strong> – manage and further develop the marketing, branding and social media of the College in collaboration with the Leadership Team: <ul type="circle"> <li>Manage and continue to build and enhance our Social Media and other online marketing tools – source, create and publish posts to promote the College.</li> <li>Manage the College website – source, create and publish articles and ensuring accurate content.</li> <li>Advertising – organisation and liaison with CEDP and local media to design promotional material and facilitate advertising and promotion of the College;</li> <li>Facilitate the organisation of the annual Open Day, including advertising and preparation of promotional printed materials, etc;</li> <li>Develop and maintain a consistent look and feel in all College branding and building on the College’s brand including College Prospectus;</li> <li>Organise College signage</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong><em>Other</em></strong> – in collaboration with College Leadership team and other administration staff: <ul type="circle"> <li>Student diary (annually) – coordinate, compile and edit.</li> <li>Database Management e.g. Child Protection, Privacy, etc.</li> <li>Communication&nbsp;link with P&amp;F Executive including liaison with and assisting with coordination of their initiatives;</li> <li>Management of the College photograph archive of College events;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Any other duties as assigned by Principal and/or Principal’s Delegate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent written communication skills, including proof-reading and editing;</li> <li>Strong planning, organisational and time management skills;</li> <li>Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications (Google Mail, Calendar, Drive and Forms) as well as Adobe InDesign.</li> <li>Ability to exercise responsibility, initiative, discretion, judgement and attention to detail, including ensuring consistency in our message;</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in preparing social media content;</li> <li>Ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines;</li> <li>Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li> <li>Interpersonal skills and experience working within a team environment;</li> <li>Possess a high work ethic, commitment to excellence and quality in fulfilling work;</li> <li>Flexibility with a high degree of motivation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Criteria:</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will have completed relevant post-secondary qualifications in a relevant field as graphic design and/or advertising and marketing or have significant and substantial technical and procedural knowledge, skill and experience comparable to at least certificate IV.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Additionally:</strong></p> <p>All staff must demonstrate at all times their commitment in supporting the ethos of the Catholic church and the Marist
