<p>Marist Catholic College North Shore, a Coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat, seeks to employ a suitable person for the role of: </p><h4>School Support Officer Level 4 - (Contract Position until end of 2021)</h4><p>Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS) is experiencing an increase in enrolment having embarked on a transformative educational project. With an increased and coeducational cohort, we are seeking a School Support Officer to join our dynamic team. We aspire to attract candidates who will help bring about for our students <i>One school - Unlimited possibilities. </i></p><p>The School Support Officer is responsible for supporting the effective administration of the College. Commencing as soon as possible, this is an amazing opportunity to join our School Administration Team and provide support to our students, staff, and the entire College community. </p><p>Hours: Notionally five days a week, but job share considered for the right candidate. Term time only. </p><h5>Key Selection Criteria </h5><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective administrator who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith </li><li>Provide high level administrative management of the office to the College Executive and teaching staff </li><li>Experience working within a team environment </li><li>The ability to manage student issues with empathy and confidentiality </li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills </li><li>The ability to multitask and take initiative </li><li>High level of computer literacy, including knowledge of google suite </li><li>Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication – able to write clearly, concisely and to a high standard, with an excellent grasp of grammar and punctuation </li><li>Flexibility with a high degree of motivation for the role </li><li>Working with Children Check </li><li>Current Senior First Aid Certificate </li></ul><h5>Desirable </h5><ul><li>Experience in a comparable role in an educational setting </li><li>Experience working with COMPASS </li><li>Expertise in preparing creative applications using a range of software and web-based applications </li><li>Expertise in the use of Adobe creative (ie InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro) </li></ul><p>All applications are to be submitted in writing and addressed to: </p><p>Mr Anthony Boys </p><p>Principal K-12 </p><p>Email: rachel.noble&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au </p><p>The application letter will need to reflect the key selection criteria for the position.
