<p>Our Lady of the Assumption (OLA) Catholic Primary School North Strathfield commenced in 2015. The student population is expected to reach 420 at full enrolment. The enrolment for 2021 is 380 students.</p><p>This position is for a Curriculum Support Teacher. The role requires the successful applicant to join the team of teachers working in both Kindergarten and Stage 3. </p><p>Partnership with Parish and the wider community will be strengths evident in the applicant’s professional history, as well as excellence as a classroom practitioner. Our values of collaboration, curiosity, empathy, excellence and truth will sit at the heart of everything that the successful applicant does.<br /></p><p>The successful applicant will have:</p><p>- a commitment to the mission of Sydney Catholic Schools and accreditation to teach Religious Education according to Sydney Catholic Schools requirements </p><p>- knowledge and application of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers </p><p>- demonstrated experience as a K-6 educator with knowledge and skills in contemporary pedagogy, demonstrating drive, passion and initiative </p><p>- effective interpersonal skills and be prepared to work collaboratively as a member of a team in a dynamic contemporary learning environment </p><p>- the ability to use data to plan differentiated programs responsive to students&#39; needs </p><p>- a willingness to continually improve professional knowledge and practice to enhance student learning outcomes </p><p>- the ability to authentically and purposefully embed ICT across all Key Learning Areas </p><p>- highly effective classroom management skills.</p><p><br /></p><p>Desirable Criteria: </p><p>- qualifications or training in Gifted Education and / or experience with Mathematics Excellence and Expertise Project (MEE).</p><p><br /></p><h5>In faith we imagine - serve - celebrate</h5>
