The College is seeking applications from qualified and experienced teachers for casual relief positions in the following Key Learning Areas: Mathematics, Science and PDHPE.

<p><b>St Mary Star of the Sea College is a Good Samaritan Catholic girls’ school for Years 7-12 located in Wollongong. The College is a technology-rich environment which encourages innovation and creativity through its IB Middle Years Program (Years 7-10), promoting Catholic values through its high standard of pastoral care and commitment to collaborative teaching and learning.  </b></p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of curriculum including appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation</li><li>Awareness and preparedness to embrace MYP principles and approaches</li><li>Successful teaching experience or pre-service experiences</li><li>An ability and interest in the integration of ICT to supplement and support education in the classroom</li><li>Understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of an all girl Catholic College embracing the Good Samaritan and Benedictine tradition</li><li>Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>Knowledge of the holistic approach to education which challenges the creativity, initiative and ability of each student. </li><li>Willingness to operate within the Pastoral Care framework of the College</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria</b><br /></p><ul><li>Qualifications and experience teaching Religious Education and/or other KLA courses</li></ul><p><b>Other</b><br /></p><ul><li>Salary and conditions will be as per the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Teachers - Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2020</li><li>This is a child-related position.
