Through our modern learning environment we seek to encourage students to be passionate and resilient lifelong learners who are creative, innovative and responsible citizens of a global community.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a motivated Business Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of the school operations (other than learning) to achieve the school's objectives.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Principal Leader, you will join the Penola Catholic College, Emu Plains school community as a Business Manager. More specifically you will be accountable for and able to demonstrate the following:</p> <ul> <li>Partnering with school leadership to manage human and physical resources (non-teaching staff, assets and facilities) to ensure the effective operation of the school and to support the learning agenda<br><br></li> <li>Managing related business, financial and administrative functions, meeting CEDP process and reporting requirements to ensure positive operational and financial performance<br><br></li> <li>Strategic management and facilitation of community partnerships for learning<br><br></li> <li>Ensuring compliance with CEDP system Policies and Procedures including satisfying internal and external audit requirements<br><br></li> <li>Using an entrepreneurial and business mindset to implement and run continuous improvement at a school-level in collaboration with the Principal Leader<br><br></li> <li>Working strategically with the Principal Leader to ensure the College physical site is able to maximise the&nbsp;contemporary learning vision and goals of the College.</li> </ul> <p>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or a related area of study<br><br></li> <li>Appropriate demonstrated business experience of at least 7+ years<br>&nbsp;</li> <li>Management of a team of 3+ resources</li> </ul> <p>We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
