<p>The Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator is a member of the College Leadership Team who assist and supports the Principal in their role as the main leader of the school community. The successful applicant has specific responsibility for a diverse range of administrative tasks that ensure the smooth and professional operation of the College.<br /></p><p>The Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator provides key professional support to the Principal in their leadership, by contributing to the effective operation of the College within the following key accountability areas: </p><ul><li>Policy Management </li><li>Compliance Management </li><li>COMPASS Administration </li><li>Risk Management </li></ul><p>The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria: </p><ul><li>Excellent classroom practitioner </li><li>Committed to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students</li><li>Be able to effectively prepare logistics for and organise large scale/whole school events and projects </li><li>Monitor the College’s compliance with legal and statutory requirements, e.g. NESA, New Scheme Teachers, Work, Health and Safety </li><li>Proven experience in leading stakeholder capacity building (staff, students, broader school community) in the use of Compass </li><li>Demonstrates a high level of skill in the use of Compass and Edval </li><li>Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively manage staff, students and parents</li><li>Demonstrates a high level of organisational skills </li><li>Ability to be flexible, adaptable and balance demands on time </li><li>Knowledge of the Financial modules within the Ci Anywhere Financial Management System. </li><li>Experience in the preparation of materials for compliance checks, audits and reports for Sydney Catholic Schools, NESA and CSNSW </li><li>Proven ability to develop and manage a planned program of review and maintenance of policies and procedures including the establishment of new policies where needs arise </li><li>Proven ability to establish and maintain effective lines of communication and follow-up processes to keep the Executive, colleagues, parents and students appropriately informed </li><li>Proven ability to oversee whole school events e.g. semester and end of year Award Ceremonies </li></ul><p>In addition to the above essential criteria, the selection of the Strategy, Policy and Governance Coordinator is based on the degree to which applicants can demonstrate their abilities to: </p><ul><li>Promote the professionalism of staff that enhances the life of the College and contributes to a sense of community </li><li>Demonstrate sound organisation and administration skills </li><li>Develop positive relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider community </li><li>Work independently, as well as in a team environment </li><li>Facilitate curriculum development to promote students&#39; learning and development </li><li>Lead school with a focus on continuous improvement </li></ul><p> The successful applicant will be required to provide a Parish Priest Reference. </p><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to the essential criteria to <a href="http://principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au</a>.
