We are looking for a Deputy Principal/RE Leader with strong leadership and faith formation skills that is comfortable being part of a high performing team. The role is a full time permanent role commencing on Wednesday 27 January 2021.

<p>St Patrick&#39;s Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school that invites faith filled people to work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team. </p><p>We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced applicants within a primary school environment for a Deputy Principal/RE Leader role that will support the School Principal in the strategic leadership of St Patrick’s to ensure the vision and ethos of the School are achieved. </p><p>Applicants should be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated capacity to think and act strategically; </li><li>Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level; </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to staff and community members; </li><li>Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills, together with a creative approach; </li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage competing tasks with a high level of attention to detail; </li><li>Enthusiasm for working in a team environment; and </li><li>Ability to manage operations within budgetary constraints. </li></ul><p>As a school, we value staff that work as part of a high performing team, and who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction. </p><p>St Patrick’s is a school committed to the safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care. A sound and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current &#39;Child Safe&#39; standards is required. </p><p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>current VIT registration; </li><li>confidence in using ICT; </li><li>knowledge of Victorian Curriculum; </li><li>accreditation to teach RE; </li><li>a commitment to faith formation, both personally and professionally;</li><li>an ability to lead staff.</li></ul><p>Note: You must reside, and have the right to work, in Australia – overseas applicants will not be considered for this role.</p>
