The Justice Leader is appointed by the Principal, is accountable to the Head of Faith and Mission, and works with the Faith and Mission Team to live the Gospel and to serve those in need by building a culture of positive social action. Justice at St Columba’s College is founded in the mission and ministry of Jesus, the life and witness of Mary Aikenhead, the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, the Strategic intentions of Mary Aikenhead Ministries, the College Mission and Vision statement and educational objectives of the College. The Justice Leader is expected to be a transformational leader, whose scriptural and theological foundations allow for critical, creative and faith-based approaches to ensuring the College community responds to justice issues in a way that is consistent with the Gospel, Catholic Social Teaching and the guiding principles of St Columba’s College.
