At Christian Brothers’ High School Lewisham, we focus on the boy to grow the man. </p><p> We are seeking an experienced and dynamic English Coordinator to join our school community. As English Coordinator you will be responsible for leading a faculty of inspired teachers, ensuring high standards of learning and teaching are maintained and continuing a culture of success within your team built on innovation, accountability and contemporary teaching practices. </p><p> To be successful in this role you will have:  </p><ul><li>Demonstrated expertise and leadership in the implementation of NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum in English </li><li>Demonstrated capacity to design and implement curriculum programs to improve outcomes for students of all abilities </li><li>A strong knowledge and understanding of evidence-based teaching and learning </li><li>An understanding of the significant role that English plays in whole school improvement </li><li>Experience as an inspirational classroom practitioner and in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs </li><li>A demonstrated capacity to lead others and work collaboratively </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills with an ability to mentor, guide and advise staff and students </li><li>A commitment to ongoing professional learning and formation </li><li>Experience in teaching English Extension I and II highly desirable </li></ul><p>Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory employment background screening.
