The Case Manager will participate in the development and implementation of procedures and policies to guide CEDWW service to schools in the area of Student Wellbeing & Diversity. The role also requires direct professional support in dealing with the highly complex and/or sensitive case management process. In many cases legal and child protection input is also required.

<p>Commencing January 2021</p><p>3 years Full Time Contract with the option of an additional 3 years subject to ongoing successful Performance Reviews  </p><p><b>Essential Requirements of the Position</b></p><p><i>Qualifications Licences and Competencies </i></p><ul><li>Relevant Postgraduate academic qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and evidence of personal responsibility for ongoing relevant professional learning.</li><li>Registration with an appropriate professional association </li><li>Accreditation for Leadership in a Catholic School (Category C, Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools) or working towards Accreditation. </li><li>Current Working With Children Check </li><li>Current National Criminal History Check </li><li>Current Drivers Licence </li></ul><p><i>Skills and Experience </i></p><ul><li>Demonstrates a commitment to the vision and mission of CEDWW and Catholic ethos. </li><li>Significant experience in working with children and/or adolescents </li><li>Ability to support organisational change and challenge existing practices in student wellbeing and mental health </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with young people experiencing challenges such as mental health, and behavioural difficulties. </li><li>Possess high level written and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work in partnership with other support agencies </li><li>Capacity to identify appropriate culturally responsive referral pathways for young people, particularly related to employment, education and training.</li></ul><p>Salary:  To be confirmed</p><p>Please contact Prue Horan on 0407 835127 or via email at <a href="mailto:horanp&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">horanp&#64;ww.catholic.edu.au</a> for further information.</p><p>Role Description:  please click <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v43hCUn00j-ZIuQTzocDhAGWUg3kR26O/view?usp&#61;sharing" rel="nofollow">here</a></p><p>This role will require the successful applicant to hold a current Working With Children Check and consent to a National Police Criminal History Check.</p><p><b>Closing date: </b>Monday 11 January 2021</p>
