<p><strong>ST JOHN'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL, AUBURN</strong></p> <p>Catholic schools are established by the Church to support parents with their responsibility for the faith formation of their children. To this end, the Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools invites applications for the following leadership position:</p> <p><strong>ACTING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COORDINATOR</strong><br> <br> <strong>Location:</strong> St John's Catholic Primary School, Auburn<br> <strong>Commencement Date:</strong> 27 January 2021<br> <strong>Closing Date:</strong> Tuesday, 8 December 2020<br> <br> As a member of the school leadership team, the Religious Education Coordinator shares responsibility for the development of the Catholic life of the school, leadership of its vision, mission and strategic priorities and contribution to the management of the school. The Religious Education Coordinator has delegated responsibility for the coordination and supervision of teaching and learning in Religious Education. This position requires an outstanding educator with a well-developed capacity to take forward the evangelising mission of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney.<br> <br> <strong>ABOUT THE SCHOOL</strong><br> <br> St John's will be a two-stream school with the exception of Year 6 in 2021.</p> <p>The vision of St John's Catholic Primary school is "Nurturing future-focused learners in a Catholic School community". Our classrooms are inclusive and calm and our learners are aspirational. We believe that all students can lead when given the opportunity. The school has an Instructional Leader model and all staff members are active learners, working together to ensure the growth of every child.
