<p>The College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Grounds and Maintenance Officer on a temporary, part-time basis (0.4 FTE) in 2021. Hours to be worked are from 7.00 am – 3.00 pm on a Tuesday and Friday throughout the year. </p><p> The Grounds and Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring general maintenance, repairs and improvement of schools grounds and facilities to ensure they are maintained in optimal condition whilst ensuring teaching and learning takes place in a safe and conducive environment. They will be required to be proactive in identification and rectification of maintenance and ground issues and be required to attend to urgent repairs. </p><p> The successful applicant will report to the Principal and Business Manager and may be required to undertake any other duties as requested by them.   </p><p> Desirable criteria for the position are: </p><p> • A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young men in the Marist tradition. </p><p>• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team. </p><p>• The ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines. </p><p>• Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel. </p><p> Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and CV via email to the College Principal.
