Moriah College invites outstanding individuals to apply for the position of Design & Technology teacher commencing Term 1, 2021.

<p>Passionate and engaging Design &amp; Technology teacher required to teach Stages 4 to 5 with the ability to teach Stage 6. </p><p> The successful applicant will have: </p><ul><li> Experience in the field of teaching Design &amp; Technology across different mediums. </li><li>Enrich a department with a core creative skill set, together with the ability to learn new design techniques. </li><li>Understanding of both Adobe Suite and CAD skills used in the production process of design prototyping and development </li><li>Excellent communication and ability to rapport with a variety of stakeholders </li><li>Demonstrated experience in responding to contemporary research, trends and initiatives that support the implementation of educational best practice within their subject area </li><li>Experience delivering high quality teaching and learning programs and activities that are context relevant, promote independent learning and integrate relevant technologies </li><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills and be prepared to work as a collaborative and reflective member of the faculty </li><li>A willingness to participate in the Co-Curricular life of the College </li><li>A commitment to ongoing professional learning </li></ul><p> An empathy with the Zionist ethos of our Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School is essential. </p><p> This is an opportunity to join a team of passionate educators, dedicated to creating a culture where students develop a positive mindset through which they are motivated to learn, to challenge themselves, to become resilient and to accomplish their goals in life. </p><p> All appointments will be based on merit selection. </p><p> Any offer of employment will be subject to background checks and child protection screening. </p><p> Visit www.moriah.nsw.edu.au to complete an Employment Application Form.
