A CEDWW School and System Improvement Education Officer: Works collaboratively with their designated Education Services Team to support the ongoing provision of a high quality Catholic Education for all students across the Diocese, with a focus on the use of data to inform improvement strategies across the system of schools. Contributes to the development and implementation of an innovative school and System improvement agenda focussed on improving practice in order to improve outcomes for students. Commits to team building and loyalty to the CEDWW Central Office Leadership Team.

<p>18 January 2021 to 22 January 2024.</p><p><b>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION </b></p><p><i>Qualifications, Licences and Competencies </i></p><ul><li>Postgraduate academic qualifications additional to initial teacher training. </li><li>NESA Accreditation at Proficient Status. </li><li>Accreditation for Leadership in a Catholic School (Category C, Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools) or working towards Accreditation. </li><li>Current Driver’s Licence. </li><li>Current Working With Children Check </li><li>Current National Criminal History Check </li></ul><p><i>Skills and Experience </i></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral </li><li>Knowledge of the NSW Syllabus K-12 </li><li>Effective interpersonal and organisational skills </li><li>Experience as a classroom teacher and/or school leader in either the primary or secondary education sector </li><li>Capacity to work collaboratively with other professionals in non-school based positions and school communities </li><li>Experience in the analysis and use of student data and the capacity to navigate a variety of data collection platforms including, but not limited to, those pertaining to National.
