The Head Information Services will be responsible for leading the effective delivery of Information Services.

<p dir="ltr">The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) is a leading school education provider and one of Western Sydney’s largest employers. A recent reinvigoration of our Technology &amp; Information Services Directorate has resulted in the creation of the position of Head Information Services, to lead three teams - Program Managers, Data &amp; Analytics, and the Service Desk.</p> <p dir="ltr">This new role is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the effective delivery of Information Services throughout the CEDP. This is a strategic role that would suit an experienced Information Services Lead, who will be responsible to liaise with leadership and managers to contribute to the strategy of ICT services.</p> <p dir="ltr">This position is a permanent full time opportunity, based in Parramatta.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What's in it for you?</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Have influence on outcomes for the business as a key resource within the Technology &amp; Information Services Directorate.</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Joining an organisation on a digital transformation journey and has great culture.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Accountabilities for the role include:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Leading the development, implementation and management of Information Services through Projects &amp; Programs, Data &amp; Analytics Services and the Enterprise Service Desk</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Developing strong partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors and service providers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Contributing to the strategy, policy and governance processes in ICT and related areas</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Providing guidance and advice to managers on BAU and major projects</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Participating in strategic decisions concerning CEDP’s digital transformation strategy and its direction</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Monitoring and enhancing the capacity of teams in the provision of services to ensure continuity and improvement of services to CEDP offices and schools</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Typical Experience and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary qualification in a relevant area of study</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Significant functional, strategy and leadership experience&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Stakeholder and vendor management skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Negotiation, conflict management and interpersonal skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated ability to respond to the changing educational environment</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
