<p>St Patrick’s College Sutherland is seeking to appoint an energetic, passionate and experienced Assistant TAS Coordinator.</p><p>The TAS Coordinator oversees the work of faculty members and is responsible for the academic direction, administration and management of the faculty. </p><p><b>Essential criteria: </b></p><ul><li>A strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, religious, academic and pastoral dimensions of College life </li><li>Proven capacity to fulfil the requirements of a middle leader position within a secondary school</li><li>An exemplary practitioner</li><li>Knowledge of contemporary trends in teaching Stage 4 Technologies</li><li>Experience with Stage 6 Multimedia</li><li>A commitment to academic excellence</li><li>Experience as a Stage 6 TAS teacher</li><li>Working knowledge of current WHS regulations</li></ul><p><b>Specific Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Certificate IV in Training and Assessment</li><li>Demonstrated ability to assist in the development and planning of units of work</li><li>An understanding and knowledge of a variety of assessment techniques</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment</li><li>Assist the Coordinator to lead a team to work collaboratively</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, innovation in teaching practice and an enthusiasm for integrating technology in the delivery of learning<br /></li><li>Participate in and assist in the leadership of ongoing professional development aimed at enhancing teaching and learning of students in a modern learning community</li></ul><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to the essential criteria to principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au.  Applicants should supply the names, addresses and phone numbers of 3 (three) referees, including your current and most recent prior principal.</p><p>Please note that only those applicants who have been successfully in the short-listing process will receive a reply.<br /></p>
