<p>Trinity Catholic College is a highly successful co-educational dual campus school in the Marist tradition. </p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers, with a passion for developing a love of HSIE and learning in young people, for this 0.2 position at the College, teaching one day per week. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher, with experience across a range of HSIE courses</li><li>Successful experience in improving student literacy</li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with other</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic </li><li>Experience in teaching Stage 5 AHG, Yr 11 Business Studies and Yr 11 Legal Studies</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events </li></ul>
