<p>Senior Leader – Learning and Teaching and School Improvement </p><p> </p><p>Sacred Heart Primary School, Morwell is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader to work in partnership with staff, students and the parent community. The role of Senior Leader – Learning and Teaching and School Improvement, is to work in close collaboration with the Principal in all matters relating to the successful operation of the School. Implicit in the role is loyalty, confidentiality and an authentic and genuine commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school. The role also embraces working with the Parish Priest and the community of Morwell. </p><p> </p><p>The Senior Leader is responsible for leading staff to further develop their understanding and practise in evidence based expert teacher practise to improved student learning outcome for all students. The Senior leader will work in support of Principal in enacting the School Strategic Improvement Plan and Annual Implementation Plan, in line with Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) Strategic Direction. </p><p> </p><p>The position of Senior Leader will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis for three years, with opportunity for renewal. In addition to this Position of Leadership, the successful applicant will be offered full time ongoing teaching employment at the School with a 0.80 FTE teaching load. </p><p> </p><p>Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons to commence on 27 January 2021.
