<p>The College is seeking to employ a qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced TAS / Multimedia teacher starting in Term 1, 2021. This is a 1.0 FTE / permanent position. The position consists of teaching TAS across Stages 4 - 6. The ability to teach a subject in another faculty would be an advantage. The successful applicant is expected to work in a team environment across two faculties and be willing to involve themselves in the liturgical life of the community and participate in all aspects of College life. A commitment to the Catholic ethos and the Salesian charism of the school is essential. </p><p>Criteria for this position:</p><ul><li>Ability to teach Stage 5 Industrial Technology - Multimedia and Stage 4 Technology Mandatory;</li><li>An interest to teach Stage 6 Design and Technology would be desirable;</li><li>Demonstrate excellence in your area of teaching, especially in the areas of Digital Technology;</li><li>Effective classroom practice and management in a classroom and practical setting;</li><li>Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team;</li><li>High-quality classroom teaching skills to enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential;</li><li>The ability to be able to teach in another faculty area would also be a distinct advantage.</li></ul><p>Requirements for this teaching position:</p><ul><li>NESA Registration</li><li>WWCC Clearance</li><li>Classification to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Degree in appropriate teacher education qualifications  </li></ul>
