This is a 3 point Coordinator contract position with a 0.6FTE time allowance and 0.4FTE teaching load. The position is from Term 1 2021 until the end of 2024. As a member of the College Executive, the Director of Strategic Planning and Communication shares responsibility for leadership of the school’s vision, mission and strategic priorities and contributes to the life and management of the school. The ideal applicant has extensive school leadership experience, demonstrated capacity in leading whole school initiatives and programs. The Director of Strategic Improvement and Communication is delegated responsibility by the Principal for the oversight and coordination of the College’s: • building project • transition to Co-education and • marketing of all aspects of College life

<p><b>Key Areas of responsibility </b></p><ul><li>Oversight of the Capital Works Development </li><li>Working in collaboration and communicating with the Project Manager, SCS Facilities, Builder &amp; Architect, KLAC’s, as onsite College manager of the Project (Principal delegate). </li><li>Strategic Focus: In conjunction with the Principal and Assistant Principal, anticipate, plan for, communicate and manage the appropriate change to College routine that facilitates the development of the project.</li><li>Coordinate with College personnel the logistics for movement of classes, staff and rooms as the building work develops </li><li>Communicate the nature of the project development to key stakeholders.</li><li>Provide executive-level support for the Principal and Executive Leadership Team concerning the management and communication of the building project as it relates to their areas of responsibility. </li><li>Procurement of learning spaces furniture and additional equipment/resources for buildings. </li><li>Manage the FF&amp;E budget for each stage of the project. </li><li>Coordination of each project stage and opening</li><li>Coordinate special projects as part of the development with the design and procurement of Catholic specific resources that are consistent with the Mission of the College.</li></ul><p><b>Transition to a Co-educational College</b></p><ul><li>Work with key stakeholders in developing College uniforms</li><li>Work with stakeholders to ensure the seamless transition to co-education with the enrolment of girls to the College commencing in 2023 </li><li>Ensure all students educational opportunities and sporting needs are catered for as the College develops. </li></ul><p><b>College Promotions, Advertising &amp; Whole School Events </b></p><ul><li>Responsibility in consultation with SCS marketing team for the promotion of the college within the local community</li><li>Editor: College Newsletter and Yearbook.</li><li>Coordinate major College events.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
