There are nineteen primary schools, 2 Prep to Year 12 College, and six secondary Colleges. The 29th school is a Special Assistance School with campuses in Cairns and Cooktown, catering for disengaged young people in Years 7-12. Two new schools opened in 2016 in Weipa (P-6) and Mt Peter (P-12). </p><h4>Purpose of the role</h4><p>The role of the Classroom Teacher Learning Enrichment (CTLE) is to support the mission of the school through facilitating the Learning Enrichment opportunities provided by Our Lady Help of Christians school. The CTLE will work with the Positions of Leadership Teaching and Learning and Classroom Teachers to implement strategies for identifying students that would benefit from engagement with an enrichment program, that is evidence informed and designed to achieve targeted learning outcomes. Working alongside the Principal and the Positions of Leadership Teaching and Learning, the CTLE will deliver enrichment programs and opportunities for identified students, gathering evidence to inform a reflective process of assessing the impact of the enrichment program on student learning. Working alongside the Leadership Team to develop appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school; and prudently administer available resources. </p><h4>Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements</h4><ul><li>Professional qualifications in Education </li><li>Registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers</li><li>Willingness to achieve Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School and Accreditation to Teach Religion in a Catholic School (Teachers of Religious Education) </li><li>Willingness to support and participate in the prayer, liturgy and sacramental life of the Church in the school community </li><li>Promote child safety at all times </li><li>Capacity to understand and implement Duty of Care and Workplace Health and Safety requirements. </li><li>Current drivers licence </li><li>A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education</li></ul><p>Catholic Education Services, Cairns is an equal opportunity employer</p><p><br /></p>
