<p>The Kooralbyn International School is Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school located in a beautiful semi-rural environment, just over an hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We expect our students to work hard, to strive for excellence, to maintain the highest standards in dress, behaviour, pride, respect and work-ethic. </p><p>Exciting opportunity for a motivated and suitably qualified Teacher to join a progressive co-educational day and boarding school to teach Humanities subjects to students in Years P to 10. </p><p>The majority of the role involves teaching HaSS to years 7-10 students. </p><p>TKIS offers ELECTIVE Mastery Programs to provide specialised instruction and participation in a specific discipline for our Secondary School students. Masteries are offered within normal school time (on Fridays) and sometimes also outside normal school time. Our current Mastery Programs cover disciplines like Golf, Equestrian, Athletics, Drama, Music, Visual Art, Film &amp; TV, Digital Design, Health and Fitness, Dance and Tennis. </p><p>The purpose of a Mastery Program is to provide an opportunity for students to pursue their specific passions beyond what can be offered within normal school. When you collect a group of students all sharing a common objective to achieve excellence in a particular field, you create one of those &#39;the whole is greater than the sum of its parts&#39; kind of outcomes that can be life-changing for young people.
