An exciting opportunity exists for a teacher to join the staff of St Clare's Catholic Primary School which opened in January 2015 and will continue to grow in 2021. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly skilled educator who is willing to work collaboratively in an open learning environment with other staff as part of our expanding team. This is an ongoing full-time position commencing in January 2021. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children as this community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. Annual Salary: $72,058 to $108,003

<p><b>Annual Salary</b>: $72,058 to $108,003</p><p><b>Role Description- Teacher </b></p><p>The responsibilities of the Class and Specialist Teachers at St. Clare’s Catholic Primary School in partnership and consultation with the Principal and the School Leadership Team are outlined below, but are not restricted to the following: </p><p>Key Focus: <br />Deliver the relevant curriculum in accordance with St Clare’s Catholic Primary School Policies and Procedures and Australian Curriculum requirements. </p><p>General Expectations: <br /></p><ul><li>Promote and support the Catholic identity and ethos of the school</li><li>Contribute to the development, formulation, implementation and evaluation of school policy </li><li>Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings and professional learning teams as stated in staff handbook </li><li>Liaise with curriculum leaders and teaching support staff to enrich student learning </li><li>Adhere to St Clare&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 870</li><li>Maintain the professional expectations of staff and teachers as outlined in the staff handbook </li><li>Communicate, cooperate and be willing to lend support and assistance to other staff </li><li>Carry out other duties delegated by the Principal as required </li></ul><p>Role Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Deliver the curriculum in accordance with school policy, ensuring adequate planning and organisation is evident </li><li>Maintain records of children’s progress based on continuous assessment and evaluation in accordance with school policy </li><li>Adhere to school discipline policies and procedures </li><li>Develop open and professional communication with parents </li><li>Provide best practice and maintain a positive learning environment for the students </li><li>Pursue and participate in professional learning: school based, systemic, regional and other sourced programs </li><li>Liaise with CEM and other support staff where appropriate</li></ul><p><b>Special Requirements :</b></p><ul><li>Strong commitment to Catholic education and Catholic identity </li><li>Willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities </li><li>Passion for building strong partnerships and links between our families and school </li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willingness to undertake) </li><li>Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development </li><li>Ability to plan and implement engaging programs using knowledge of contemporary learning and teaching practices </li><li>Knowledge of and a demonstrated ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities </li><li>Experience, or willingness to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds </li><li>Adhere to St Clare&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 870 </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively to support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture</li><li>Knowledge of the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers </li><li>Have current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.</li></ul><p><b>Application Instructions </b></p><p> Applications should be made in writing and forwarded via email only to Andrew Leighton, at the following email address: principal&#64;sctruganina.catholic.edu.au.
