The College is looking for an innovative, experienced, future focused disruptor to lead our Academic Resource Centre, support enrichment in literacy and provide support to our information services including embedding the use of our CanvasLMS to provide a truly personalised approach to learning. This is a role on the 7-12 Lavalla Campus. Innovative Primary teachers comfortable in a secondary setting will be considered.

<p>Marist Catholic College North Shore is seeking an innovative, experienced and collaborative leader to fill this key role in supporting learning across the College.</p><p>The Learning Enrichment Leader will work with the College on design thinking - using your skills of ideation to action innovative learning opportunities for the students and support their literacy skills. You will also support the Library Assistant in their oversight of the College library (Academic Resource Centre). </p><p>This is a permanent fulltime role requiring the successful candidate to work flexible hours. The Academic Resource Centre will be open till 5:00pm on Monday to Wednesday and 4:00pm on a Friday. Your working hours will be flexible to support the closing times. This is subject to change in line with College needs.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of all students.</li><li>Exemplary classroom practitioner who models best practice learning and teaching.</li><li>Experience leading a library and/or information services centre, not essential.</li><li>Teaching experience in more than one school.</li><li>Exceptional ICT and online learning skills - knowledge of the CanvasLMS is an advantage but not essential.</li><li>Ability to deliver literacy support up to Year 12.</li><li>Creative thinker who is able to lead the Academic Resource Centre into the future, based on contemporary educational research, theory and practice. </li><li>An understanding of current research and developments in best practice approaches to supporting students learning and quality teaching to improve outcomes.</li><li>Flexible and agile in the support of staff and students.</li><li>Strong organisational skills.</li><li>High level interpersonal skills with the ability to manage the full range of challenges that arise within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Applications close 3pm 5th November 2020</b></p>
