We are seeking applicants for a classroom position to begin in Term 1, 2021. </p><p>
We seek a faith-filled teacher who wants to share his/her talents and gifts with us. Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care. </p><p>Applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic Faith and Catholic Identity of the school. Be innovative, enthusiastic, and focused on explicit teaching to ensure high student outcomes. Be committed to the safety and wellbeing of children, have a commitment to reflective and collaborative practice. Have a strong ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships. Be open to feedback from students, parents, and colleagues engage students in learning, and facilitate the best educational practice.</p><p>Applicants need to address the following and complete the attached form. </p><p>Key Selection Criteria;</p><p>As part of your application please provide an example of;
</p><ul><li>Use of the Pedagogy of Encounter </li><li>Use of restorative practices
</li><li>Use of an SEL approach</li><li>Understanding of G: Suite and its application in a classroom setting
</li><li>Understanding of SeeSaw </li><li>Understanding of SMART spelling approach
</li><li>Use of evidence-based approaches </li></ul><p>Applicants should:
</p><ul><li>provide a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria and a current resume including three referees one of whom is an applicant's current principal </li><li>have relevant teaching qualifications </li><li>be currently registered with VIT
</li><li>have accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards accreditation)
