Teachers within the Diocese are responsible to the Principal and shares in the learning and teaching of subject matters to students of the school community. Teachers are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community they serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p>A full-time temporary teaching position exists for HSIE/RE (Years 7-12) and Integrated Studies (Year 7)</p> <p><strong>Position Criteria</strong></p> <p>The preferred applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Be familiar with the new NSW Syllabuses</li> <li>Have the ability to design effective assessment tasks</li> <li>Have effective interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach</li> <li>Have high quality classroom teaching skills which enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential</li> <li>Have the ability to teach HSIE/RE using an enquiry-based learning model</li> <li>Have the ability to teach Integrated Studies to Year 7 (HSIE/English/Geography/Religious Education)</li> <li>Have completed, or be in the process of obtaining, their Working With Children Check</li> <li>Have completed, or be in the process of completing, their classification with the CEDP Parramatta</li> </ul> <p>Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life and support for the Catholic ethos of the college is essential.</p> <p><strong>Applications MUST include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A letter addressing the position criteria</li> <li>Full CV</li> <li>Academic Transcripts</li> <li>The names and contact details for three referees (at least two recent referees within the education sector)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
