In the heart of Darwin’s CBD, St Mary's Community of Learners (CoL) is an inclusive learning community that caters for children from 3-5 years, with a preschool program each day. There is a strong focus on learning through play and the holistic development of each child. St Mary’s CoL is a place where children learn in faith and love and where the unique talents, gifts and achievements of students are promoted and celebrated. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated preschool teacher to join our team.
<p>Essential Criteria<br /></p><p>• Bachelor of Education (Early Years), NT Teacher Registration (TRB) and hold current Working With Children (Ochre) Card. </p><p>• Work collaboratively with the Principal and Assistant Director in the implementation and evaluation of quality programs for each child that is based on the children’s strengths and interests. </p><p>• Create a stimulating learning environment that meets the social, cultural, educational and physical needs of the children. </p><p>• Communicate effectively with children, parents and staff. </p><p>Desirable Criteria: </p><p>• Hold a current First Aid Certificate, Fire Awareness Certificate, Mandatory Reporting, Anaphylaxis Training and Asthma Awareness Training. </p><p>Starting January 2021 </p><p>Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.</p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant may have the opportunity to increase hours to full time equivalent, from other roles within the school.</p>
