Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced HSIE (Geography, History & Commerce) teachers for a permanent ongoing position commencing 27 January 2021. Applicants must be reliable, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and actively support the college ethos. The position will be teaching Stage 5 elective Commerce.

<p>De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah is a Year 7-10 Catholic systemic school for boys in the Archdiocese of Sydney. The college is currently seeking applications for the position of HSIE teacher (Geography, History and Commerce). </p><p>Applicants must be reliable, demonstrate high levels of professionalism and actively support the College ethos. </p><p>This position commences on 27 January 2021 and is permanent and ongoing. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Essential Criteria: </b></p><p>The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following: </p><p>• a commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith. </p><p>• highly effective teaching skills and a clear understanding of modern pedagogical practice and qualifications to Geography, History &amp; Commerce at a Stage 4 &amp; 5 level. </p><p>• an ability to build strong working relationships with staff, students and outside agencies and work as part of a team. </p><p>• an ability to incorporate innovative high order ICT skills in teaching, learning and administration. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Applications: </b></p><p>All submissions should be addressed to Mr Peter Buxton, Principal, and emailed to Geraldine Wilson - geraldine.wilson&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au by 3pm, Friday 6 November 2020. </p><p>Applicants should include a letter of application together with a current resume of no more than two pages which includes three professional referees. </p><p><br /></p>
