<p>Here is an exciting opportunity for the right applicant to work as a team member in providing educational services to Aboriginal &amp; Islander students in a Catholic school.  </p><p>The successful applicant will have the ability to:</p> <ul><li>work with Aboriginal &amp; Islander students in the classroom providing educational and pastoral support;</li><li>liaise with parents and guardians to facilitate a strong connection with the College and its ethos; and,</li><li>develop and maintain relationships with organisations who provide assistance to Aboriginal &amp; Islander students and their families;</li></ul><p>Essential Criteria:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education ;</li><li>Demonstrated skills in cross-cultural communication ;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to relate to Aboriginal &amp; Islander people when providing a liaison service; </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision in the liaison role ;</li><li>Ability to work with teachers in the delivery of appropriate and challenging programs to Aboriginal &amp; Islander students ;</li><li>Experience in providing a liaison service, which involved close contact with Aboriginal &amp; Islander people ;</li><li>Knowledge of the range of Aboriginal &amp; Islander cultures in the NT context ; and,</li><li>Higher education certificate.<br /></li></ul> <p> Aboriginal or Islander applicants need only apply. </p><p>Salary as per the current EBA and consistent with experience and qualifications.  Range from $64,932 - $70,227.</p><p>This full time position commences on 29 January 2021.</p><p>Further information can be obtained by phoning 08 8950 6409.</p>
