<p>Central Coast Steiner School is an independent, co-educational school offering a contemporary educational pathway from Early Childhood to Year 10. Our holistic curriculum fosters academic excellence whilst placing great importance on creative as well as practical experiences. </p><p> We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant to undertake the role of Outdoor Education Facilitator. This is a casual position. The successful application will work with our teaching staff to: </p><p>• Lead groups of students on outdoor expeditions </p><p>• Instruct and facilitate outdoor activities </p><p>• Assist with the maintenance, repair and storage of equipment </p><p>• Assist with the transportation of students and equipment </p><p>• Assist with pre-camp set-up and post-camp pack-up. </p><p><b> Key Selection Criteria: </b></p><p>• Qualifications in outdoor education, physical education or related fields </p><p>• Previous experience in a similar role </p><p>• Excellent leadership skills and a passion for outdoor education </p><p>• Ability to positively engage and motivate young people </p><p>• Positive rapport with children and adolescents </p><p>• Excellent verbal communication skills </p><p>• Understanding of the principles and practices of Steiner education </p><p>• Initiative, flexibility and ability to work in a team </p><p>• Current first aid certifications </p><p>• An LR driver’s license is desirable </p><p> </p><p>The successful candidate must also provide a Working with Children Clearance prior to commencing. </p><p><br /></p>
