<p>We are seeking a part-time language teacher to deliver a language program to children in Classes 1 – 6 so that children are able to communicate with others in a 2nd language, and to reflect on, and understand the nature and role of language and culture in their lives and the lives of others. We are open to a range of language options which may include one of the following: German, French, Spanish, Chinese or Japanese. The quality of the program and capacity of the teacher to develop interest and enjoyment in learning a 2nd language is our priority. </p><p>The ideal applicant will: </p><p>*motivate children in speaking, singing, writing and reading in a second language </p><p>*involve children in festivals and celebrations of other cultures</p><p>*teach in a way that fits with the Steiner approach </p><p>Other Information: Our school is situated in a beautiful bush setting on the edge of Garigal National Park in Belrose, Sydney.
