<p>St John&#39;s Heidelberg is inviting applications for a full time, ongoing classroom teaching position, to commence at the beginning of the 2021 school year. </p><p> </p><p>We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for learning and teaching. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant must be able to use effective learning pedagogy to provide a personalised, challenging and engaging learning environment for all students and to use data to maximise learning growth. A commitment to ongoing professional learning is essential. </p><p> </p><p>Applicants should have the capacity to foster effective relationships and work collaboratively with all members of the school community. </p><p> </p><p>St John&#39;s is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p> </p><p>The position will commence on 27th January, 2021. </p><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will have the capacity to: </p><p> </p><p>support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the Religious Education program, with an emphasis on enhancing Catholic School Identity </p><p>be innovative, enthusiastic and focused on explicit teaching and the use of data to ensure high student outcomes </p><p>provide effective differentiated teaching across the key areas of the curriculum </p><p>engage students in contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum </p><p>reflect and work flexibly as well as collaboratively within staff teams </p><p>build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. </p><p> </p><p>Special Requirements </p><p>-equivalent to 4 years of teacher training </p><p>-VIT registration is essential </p><p>-accreditation to teach Religious Education or willingness to do so </p><p>-completion of the attached Child Safety Employment Form. </p><p> </p><p><br /></p>
