<p>The Assistant Head of Campus represents the Principal by having a commitment to, and active demonstration of concern for, the growth and wellbeing of each student, as well as the broader school community;</p><div>The position focuses on cultivating a proactive environment and culture that supports the physical, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of every student.</div><div><br /></div><div>They assist the Principal by providing leadership and appropriate pastoral care that reflects current thinking on Primary Schooling.</div><div><br /></div><div>Essential Criteria:</div><div><br /></div><ul><li>Have a commitment to uphold and contribute to the ethos of Catholic schools;</li><li>Demonstrated competence in his/her capacity to promote, enhance and integrate the religious dimension of a Catholic school into all facets of school life;</li><li>Evidence of educational, pastoral, theological and managerial aspects of school leadership; </li><li>Ability to work in leadership and administration as a team member;</li><li>Ability to facilitate the planning, implementation and evaluation of sound educational policies and practices;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with the whole school community as well as with the wider community;  and,</li><li>The Assistant Head of Campus has a background of appropriate professional and personal strengths and skills to allow them to work effectively in this area. Where necessary, they will be prepared to undertake relevant courses of study or professional development that will enhance their specific skills and understanding and contribute to effective leadership.</li><li>An Australian Resident</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Appropriate tertiary qualifications in education, school management and/or educational leadership;<br /></li><li>Accreditation B – Teach in a Catholic School;</li><li>Northern Territory Teacher Registration; and,</li><li>Northern Territory Working with Children Card.</li></ul><div>Position: Classroom Teacher permanent full-time commencing 29 January 2021. The Position of Responsibility appointment as Assistant Head of Campus will be for an initial period of three years plus two years subject to continued designation of position and satisfactory performance review.</div><div><br /></div><div>Salary range: Classroom Teacher $75,169 to $107,803 as per the current Enterprise Agreement and consistent with experience and qualifications.
