An exciting Senior Leadership opportunity exists at Sacred Heart Parish School, Sandringham, for an experienced lead teacher, who demonstrates a deep commitment to Catholic Education and Child Safety. The role of Deputy Principal/RE/Learning Diversity is an ongoing full time position. The Deputy Principal position will be for an initial 3-year term. We are seeking an innovative/creative leader who has strong contemporary curriculum knowledge and expertise in Learning Diversity. The Deputy Principal will support the Principal in providing both strategic and day to day leadership of the School. The Religious Education Leader will engender a clear catholic vision and model gospel values, inspired by the Horizons of Hope, all the while enhancing the Catholic identity of our school. They will display exemplary practices and pedagogy and the ability to assist staff to infuse the RE curriculum into their Inquiry Units. The role will also encompass the Learning Diversity Leader. The Learning Diversity Learner will have a strong working knowledge of Student Wellbeing, NCCD, and the ability to organise and run Staff meetings and PSGs.

<p><b>Applicants are required to: </b><br /></p><p><b>• </b>demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and an ability to work strategically </p><p>• attention to detail and time management </p><p>• interpersonal skills </p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and a good working knowledge of the Child Safe Standards </p><p>• have current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching </p><p>• have academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s degree or five years equivalent) </p><p>• have relevant, appropriate and substantial educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positions </p><p>• have relevant experience within the last five (5) years in Catholic parish primary schools, or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools </p><p>• be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school. </p><p><b>N.B.
