<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools, colleges and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office with 2,500 staff supporting 16,000 students.&nbsp;</p> <p>CET is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education for the following position:&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Manager: Curriculum Assessment and Professional Practice</strong></p> <p><strong>5-Year contract&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>A key position is currently available within CET’s Learning and Teaching Team. This Manager role reports directly to the Director: Learning and Teaching and is accountable to lead and manage the Curriculum Assessment and Professional Practice (CAPP) Team as they provide professional and educational service delivery in all Catholic schools and colleges in Tasmania.</p> <p>Candidates will be required to:</p> <ul> <li>Promote the educational ministry of the Church in the Archdiocese of Hobart.</li> <li>Provide high-level advice to the Director: Learning and Teaching on key policy/operational issues relating to policy development, strategic direction and professional support in education in the areas of the portfolio.</li> <li>Demonstrate instructional design expertise; strong knowledge of adult learning methodologies and ability to build practical, applicable and results-driven learning programs.</li> <li>Have a high-level of emotional maturity/intelligence.</li> <li>Establish strong and respectful relationships with each school community.</li> </ul> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate significant relevant experience and hold a degree in education or equivalent and postgraduate level qualifications in education or a complementary related area (preferably at a Masters level).</p> <p>A competitive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.&nbsp;</p> <p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
