<p>Dominic College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Catholic, co-educational College conducted by the Salesians of Don Bosco.  </p><p>With the promotion of staff, the College now seeks a leader of excellence in Pastoral Care committed to the development of the academic, social, spiritual and emotional well-being of students.  </p><p>The new Coordinator will be taking up the role at an exciting time as the College develops an ongoing contemporary paradigm of the Preventive System within the research base of Academic Care and Positive Education. </p><p>This positions requires a dynamic leader with:  </p><p>• Strong understanding of the features of excellence in Pastoral Care in a Catholic School;</p><p> • Demonstrated leadership, initiative and innovation in designing engaging community    experiences and service experiences for students;</p><p> • Ability to lead processes that support the academic, social, emotional and spiritual well-being   of students 7-10; </p><p>• Excellent understanding of and practice in contemporary Student Management; </p><p>• Capacity to lead and develop a team of homeroom teachers into an effective House team; </p><p>• Commitment to foster and promote resilience and positive mental health amongst students; </p><p>• Highly effective and positive relationships and communications with parents;</p><p> • Understanding of and commitment to the Preventive System, Salesian ethos and Catholic values. </p><p><b>Selection criteria and the application process are available from the College website:</b><b>https://www.dominic.tas.edu.au/our-college/college-staff/ employment-opportunities</b></p>
