Learning Support Teacher has responsibility and accountability to ensure students with special and additional needs on the NCCD database have programs designed to individually cater to their needs. Programs are co-ordinated and collaboratively planned with Class Teachers and Learning Support Officers. Student data entry on the NCCD database is critical in the utilisation of the Personalised Planning Tool (PPT). Learning Support teacher meets with parents and teachers to devise student goals and personalised plans to meet the students needs. This position is for immediate commencement in 2021.

<p><b>The successful applicant will:</b></p><p><b><i>Please read the role description attached</i></b></p><p>• Be a practising Catholic and supportive of the Catholic ethos, values and educational setting</p><p>• Suitably qualified and accredited to teach students with special and additional needs</p><p>• Have experience working with students with special needs and a thorough understanding of NCCD database system</p><p>• Competent and effective teacher with experience to meet the diverse needs of students (EALD, Special Needs). </p><p>• Have excellent communication skills and interpersonal style that is engaging and motivating </p><p>• Have the ability to work collaboratively with a highly professional team </p><p>• Have a solid understanding of contemporary teaching and learning </p><p>• Experience using digital technologies as a tool for learning</p><p>• Be open to learning, passionate, dedicated and committed to the profession </p><p> </p><p>Email application to Principal with 3 referee contacts: Current, Recent employer and Parish Priest to: </p><p>anna.marsella&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au </p><p> </p><p>Principal: Anna Marsella</p>
