Accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney is a distinct advantage.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher, with experience across a range of HSIE courses, including Stage 6 Modern History, Ancient History and Business Studies. </li><li>Successful experience in improving student literacy</li><li>Ability and demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Ability to integrate ICT into the of teaching of HSIE</li><li>Ability to build high expectations through positive support</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with other</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>The closing date for this position is Monday October 12th, 2020 at 3pm</b></p>
