St Vincent’s College is a Catholic Day and Boarding School for girls in Years 7 to 12. The College was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1858, now under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and fosters creativity, discernment and leadership in the development of students to be courageous women of action. The position is for a teacher of English to commence Term 1, 2021 and is a one year's contract position.
<p>The College is looking for an outstanding English teacher capable of teaching Stage 4-6, including Stage 6 Standard and Advanced. The commencement of the position is Term 1, 2021 and will end at the conclusion of Term 4, 2021.</p><p>The successful applicant will :</p><ul><li>hold the appropriate teaching qualifications and be eligible to teach in NSW</li><li>be an outstanding classroom teacher of English across Years 7-12 with excellent understanding of current pedagogies</li><li>be committed to continuous improvement and professional learning</li><li>demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team</li><li>demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Vision of the College</li><li>hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of young people..</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
