<p>Full Time Position </p><p>Commencing 27 January 2021 </p><p><br /></p><p>Applications are invited for the above permanent position from qualified teachers who </p><p>demonstrate a sincere commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic education </p><p>and possess appropriate teaching qualifications. </p><p><br /></p><p>Criteria: </p><p>• Commitment to Catholic education and a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic </p><p>Schools, and the charisms of St. John Baptiste de La Salle and the Venerable </p><p>Catherine McAuley </p><p>• Proven ability in developing, implementing and evaluating learning support programs </p><p>and structures in a secondary school setting, including Individual Learning Plans </p><p>• Ability to drive effective tiered intervention strategies and programs, and to support </p><p>teaching staff in implementing these strategies </p><p>• Experience in overseeing literacy/ numeracy initiatives, funded support programs </p><p>and statutory, system, NESA and NCCD requirements around disability and </p><p>adjustments identification, response and auditing </p><p>• Ability to lead a team and to successfully liaise with students, staff, parents and </p><p>relevant organisations regarding disability and support matters </p><p>• Developed understanding of a Professional Learning Community mindset and </p><p>commitment to evidence-driven improvement for all students </p><p>• Willingness to undertake administrative, curriculum and supervisory duties </p><p>associated with the position and as determined by the Principal </p><p><br /></p><p>A valid Working with Children Check Number is required for this position and </p><p>must be provided at the time of application.
