Year Level/Subject: P-6 At St. Vincent de Paul Primary School we value personalised learning and the opportunity for student voice, collaboration and responsibility. We have an exciting opportunity for a leadership role at our school to work with staff and students in the area of learning diversity and student wellbeing. We are seeking an experienced educator with an extensive knowledge of working with children with additional needs and supporting children's wellbeing. The contract position is for 2021-2022 with the potential for an ongoing position. Attached are the role descriptions for this dual role.

<p>We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated leader to join our committed staff from Term 1, 2021. </p><p> The successful applicant will: </p><p> </p><ul><li>be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships </li><li>have a thorough understanding of contemporary approaches to learning and teaching </li><li>have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities </li><li>be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school </li><li>be committed to ongoing professional learning </li><li>be open to the development of assessment capable students as part of the school&#39;s commitment to the Visible Learning Project. </li></ul><p> </p><p>Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. </p><p> </p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><ul><li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies </li><li>current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration</li><li>additional studies or experience in literacy leadership  </li><li>include the contact details of three referees </li><li>have an understanding that our school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children</li></ul>
