<p>We are seeking a Fixed term Part time Learning Support Officer for 12.54 hours over 3 days a week for Term 4, 2020.  The successful candidate needs to be a welcoming, friendly, highly motivated person who is willing to show initiative and work collaboratively within a team. They need to be flexible being able to work with a variety of students and their teachers. They also need to have a passion for working with children with diverse needs, having a belief that all children can learn and succeed. </p><p>This community is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all children in our care.</p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>It is expected that the successful applicant will need to be: </p><ul><li>    committed to the values and ethos of the Catholic education system </li><li>    have a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check </li><li>    highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic </li><li>    have some experience working with students with a diverse range of needs </li><li>    display effective communication and organisational skills and the ability to be flexible, proactive and resourceful </li><li>    use initiative within the class environment to ensure optimal student support </li><li>    able to communicate frequently and sensitively with families </li><li>    able to work as part of teams of various sizes </li><li>    self-motivated and able to work independently if necessary</li><li>    able to build positive relationships with children and assist in creating learning environments where all are valued and challenged </li><li>    demonstrate an understanding of child safety and the appropriate obligations and behaviours when engaging with students. </li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>This school community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</p>
