We are seeking an experienced Diverse Learning teacher.

<p> </p> <div> <p>Applications are invited from enthusiastic and qualified educators (Tertiary qualifications in Diverse Learning or Special Education will be considered favourably) to apply for the above position commencing as soon as possible by negotiation.</p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul><li> Clearly define accountability measures that are identified, measurable, and report outcomes</li></ul> <ul><li> Is a dynamic and experienced educator (experience in Diverse Learning essential )</li></ul> <ul><li> Able to coach and mentor and model innovative pedagogy and collaborative practice.</li></ul> <ul><li> Demonstrate a knowledge of learning practices that enhance student achievement and performance in learning across KLAs.</li></ul> <ul><li> Contribute to the effectiveness and quality of Diverse Learning Team.</li></ul> <ul><li> Demonstrate experience teaching students who have special educational needs in the areas of behavioural/ mental health diagnosis or disadvantaged lives.</li></ul> <ul><li> Be able to collaborate with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of achievement.</li></ul> <ul><li> Capable of empowering students to be independent and creative learners.</li></ul> <ul><li> Able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.</li></ul> <ul><li> Able to work effectively and cohesively with a team.</li></ul> <ul><li> Have the capacity to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.</li></ul> <ul><li> Demonstrate the ability to support the modification of education programs and assessment to suit individual students learning needs.</li></ul> <ul><li> Show experience of ongoing assessment of students against syllabus outcomes and reporting against student individual growth.</li></ul> <ul><li> Be committed to ongoing personal and professional learning, formation and growth.</li></ul> <ul><li> Teachers should be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College, to authentic effective innovative teaching and learning strategies, and committed to the wellbeing of all members of the community.</li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Child Protection legislation requires the applicant has a current Working With Children Clearance.</p> <p>Written applications, including Curriculum Vitae and the names of 3 referees should be sent to the address below by 9.00am Monday, 12th October 2020.</p> </div>
