<p>St Augustine&#39;s is seeking an experienced teacher to work as a 0.5 part-time Specialist Cooking teacher for 2.5 days per week for 2021. <br /></p><p>The successful applicant will be required to have an understanding of food technology, nutrition, and the ability to work collaboratively with the garden specialist to facilitate a Kitchen Garden program integrated within class inquiry units. Current first-aid accreditation, knowledge and understanding of managing student dietary requirements, anaphylaxis, allergies and intolerances is essential.</p><p>In applying for a position with Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM), you will be asked to provide certain personal information to enable your application to be considered. To find out more about how CEM handles personal information, you are encouraged to read the CEM Privacy Policy. </p><p><b>Qualifications and Experience Required: </b></p><ul><li>Equivalent to 4 years of professional qualifications in education. </li><li>Previous background, experience and knowledge in food technology and nutrition education. </li><li>VIT Registration. </li><li>Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Diabetes certification</li><li>Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school. </li><li>Names and contact details (including mobile phone number) of at least 3 referees. </li></ul><p><b>Remuneration: </b></p><p> As per conditions for Teachers covered by the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018.
