The College is looking for a truly innovative, experienced, future focused disruptor to lead our Religious Education Faculty on the 7-12 Lavalla Campus.

<p>Marist Catholic College North Sydney - Lavalla Campus is looking for a Leader of Learning: Religious Education who is responsible for the oversight and pedagogical leadership of the Religious Education Faculty on the Lavalla Campus (7-12). The role is supported by the Director of Faith Formation k-12.</p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria: </b></p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic Education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of all students. </li><li>Qualifications and experience in Religious Education &amp;/or Theology </li><li>At least 5 years teaching experience in more than one school.</li><li>Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and experience in teaching Religious Education to Stage 6. </li><li>Ability to lead this KLA to ensure dynamic and collaborative learning experiences for all students. </li><li>Exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective pedagogies to meet the needs of all students.</li><li>Commitment to exploring contemporary ways of engaging students in their study of Religious Education. </li><li>Capability to empower students to be independent and creative learners.</li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Meet the requirements of Category E in the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead in Sydney Catholic Schools or agree to meet these requirements within 3 years.</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Renumeration/Time:</b> 2 Point Coordinator Allowance </p><p><b>Contract: </b>Initial 2 year contract, renewable after successful performance review.</p>
